ACT4LITTER joined the working webinar on Marine Litter organized on 17 July 2017 by PANACeA with the aim to foster the development of partnerships, knowledge exchange and a better coordination of activitiesamong Interreg Med projects dealing with marine litter in the Mediterranean.
A webinar on Marine litter in the mediterranean was organised to gather the interested parties of the Biodiversity protection community. This debate platform was hosted by the Interreg Med PANACeA project whose objective is to streamline networking and management efforts in Mediterranean Protected Areas (PAs) as a mechanism to enhance nature conservation and protection in the region.Several Interreg Med projects dealing with marine litter – AMAre, Act4Litter, BlueIslands, MedSeaLitter and POSBEMED - discussed on how cooperation can help address this challenge in the Mediterranean. The objective was to foster the development of partnerships, knowledge exchange and a better coordination of activities among Interreg Med projects dealing with marine litter in the Mediterranean.
